FBA stands for Fulfilled by Amazon. This model essentially means that you incur the inventory cost up front for your business, ship then store them within Amazon’s warehouse. Once customers make orders through your listing, Amazon will then fulfill the order, automating the process for you. The other models are wholesale, retail arbitrage and online arbitrage.
We recommend a starting capital of at least $4000 USD for your first product launch. That said, lower capital is feasible but will limit product selection as well as scalability on your first order. If you are looking to start with a lower capital to purely proof the concept to yourself, shipping in $2000 or less worth of inventory would be sufficient.
